Miltenyi Biotec, founded in 1989, is a diversified biotechnology
group of companies with a business focus on cellular technologies.
With more than 600 employees worldwide, we develop, produce and
market state-of-the-art products and technologies for cell
separation, cell biology and related molecular biology applications.
Specifically, we focus on stem cell isolation, immune therapies,
tissue replacement, with devices and biological reagent kits for
both clinical and research use.
Miltenyi Biotec has GMP production facilities at its headquarters
near Cologne, as well as in Northern Germany, near Rostock. We
produce monoclonal antibodies, magnetic particles, instruments,
reagents and separation columns for specific cell isolation,
sterile solutions and special culture media, biological adsorbers
for blood/plasma treatment, medical devices and disposables.
By combining competencies in biologics and device technologies,
Miltenyi Biotec is uniquely positioned to provide researchers and
clinicians with a wide range of advanced solutions for cellular
research, cell therapies and blood/plasma treatments.
Based on significant proprietary technologies, Miltenyi Biotec is
engaged in numerous collaborative studies and partnerships worldwide
that explore various new applications of existing products as well
as new product concepts, experimental technologies and clinical
products.
Currently, we are supporting several ongoing clinical studies
related to the use of stem/progenitor cells for the regeneration of
various tissues and the use of isolated immune cells for the
treatment of major diseases.
Miltenyi Biotec owns substantial GMP production capacity (incl.
aseptic manufacturing) and has started to develop and produce
complex biological products and devices in the form of contract
manufacturing arrangements with third parties.
Through our expertise in flexible antibody production, downstream
rocessing and conjugation, we are uniquely positioned to offer ighly
customized manufacturing solutions with the shortest turn-round
times.
